Our man in the middle, Ken 'Hawkeye' Glassman takes you with his club the Top Cats to the 2004 Little Sturgis aka Rally on the River. Check out the trip and let us know if you are interested in reading more adventure tales like this in the future.

I don't mind reading articles like that; but it did seem kind of long to me. Maybe if it was shortened I'd be more likely to read more of those articles (what can I say, short attention span :p)

At first I thought we were reading about the Little Sturgis KY rally, I went to this year, but I guess not.

Little Sturgis KY? now that is an old school rally, pretty wild though. Sounds like the Little Sturgis on the River is pretty tame, by comparison.

when a man is old and on his death bed, he may look back on his life and wish he had done things differently, he may wish that he had spent more time with his family, or got to travel more, or any number of things, but I never heard a man say, darn, if I could have only gotten more overtime in, or spent a little more time at the office, I could have...

There are little Sturgis's all over, I think the wildest one I have been too was Sturgis Michigan.

Unfortunately a co-worker of mine had brought a camera with her, she made sure to take lots of pictures of me doing lots of stuff I cant remember doing ... black mail material.

Anyway the most wild & out of control event is still Indiana's ABATE BOOGIE, that's just unabashed debatchery at its finest.

Thanks to Ken 'Hawkeye' Glassman for the taking the time to tell the story, sounds like a good time without that whole: "and then ... I woke up in jail" ending!

It seems like with all of these biker events going on every year perhaps a good addition to the Motorcycle USA website could be a calendar with bike events and details.
