Kevin Duke had a blast on the 50cc Honda Dream and NSR50 mini race machines. Share your thoughts on the little bikes. Read the Article

Is there a web page or other info on where we can ride/race these bikes (in the midwest)?

Not a racing webpage, but you might enjoy seeing what a nutter on an NSR50 can do. Click here and here

If someone can shorten it, fine. But the these 50cc race replicas are fun bikes to ride. I played with the NS around a motel for hours!

I just got back from a Texas Mini GP race in Denton, TX. Site of the first two 12 hrs of Texas mini endurance road races. Got a chance to ride an older NSR 50 ( '98 model I think). It came from Japan. Very peaky compared to my stock YSR 50. Seemed to handle very well but didn't push it very hard as I didn't want to crash a friend's bike. It looks like we are going to have another 12 hr endurance race this year. The CMRA will probably co-sanction with the TMGP. Check out the CMRA's message board at cmraracing.com. We had Team Calamari at the first two 12 hours. We would love to have a team from Motorcycle USA join us for the fun. Hope to see ya there. Glenn Mosley. The idea of pushing 50cc racers around a course sounds like a ton of fun! I'd like to try my hand on one of these:

Well, guys, we're going racing! We picked up our NSR this week and will put it into action November 7 at Grange racetrack in Southern California. Stay tuned for updates!

jumpin Cool to see minature road racing in the USA.  We race it here in New Zealand but call it buckets.  Our team; Team JDR races two Suzuki RG 50 and one Aprilia RS 50.  Check out my site http://rgracer.tripod.com

Well, we did it - MCUSA went to the races. Emotions ran high, whether it was our podium finish or our DNF caused by an amateurish mistake. But the primary emotion of our first day of mini road racing was fun, pure and simple. Read about it here: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Article_Page.aspx?ArticleID=1693&Page=1

Our racing appetite has been whetted, so we're heading to Willow Springs International Raceway near Rosamond, California, on January 9 for the first race of the 2005 CMRRA championship season. Stay tuned for more in our search for racing glory, mini-style!

New Zealand even holds a Gran Prix for little 50cc race bikes, as well as a 2 hour.
Some clubs still run bucket bikes in street races. These are the classes so far

F5- any race bike up to 50cc but no GP or moto X engines
F4- any bike up to 125cc 2 stroke and up to 140cc four stroke
JR Motard- A kids version of senior Motards untill you are 15
SR Motard- Motarding 15+
Mini Moto- Minature race bikes
