Looking for a Carburetor for a 2003 Yamaha TTR 90. This is my son's bike, not sure if it is an "ER" or "R" model. Could someone please explain the difference. My guess is the "ER" would be in reference to the "electric start".

Thanks.

Its the same carb for both the R and ER model, no difference between models for the carb.

Seems odd to be looking for a complete carb for a bike only eight years old. Was the original carb lost or damaged to the point it could not be rebuilt?

Complete carb is about $329 retail at a local Yamaha dealer.
