|Maybe I'm just lucky, but so far I've never gotten grief from the 1% crowd... I remember pulling into a gas station in CO back in summer of '05, 107 degrees out, I'm in full gear, and the locals were like "what is wrong with you, are you nuts?" |
The other riders are nodding and saying "on a bike like that, the gear's a good idea".
I think these days, even the hardcore biker gang types are cool with other riders, as long as those other riders aren't messing with /them/. I might (!) be an idealist, however.
Don't let Frank see that, or he'll make us put it in the movie.
