The Busa master, Scott Horner and I will be working on a 14 just for kicks and giggles. He just turbocharged a 250 Ninja which for it's class is a killer machine. Not by his standards of course. For now, the scooter is the main transport to save as may bucks as possible. 3$ a week vs $75, more mon for fun.

400 hp... Good God, man! freaked  I can't even imagine what that would feel like to ride. Sounds like a great project though. You'll have to put up some pics as you go so we can see this beast come to life!

MTC pistons 10.5 to one, new rods, 650cc injectors, lock up clutch set at 7500 rpms. promises to be a fun street ride. However I don't pull that kind of power for the street. Just would not be a good citizen. The cage guys are going to hate this on the track.

OK 10:i says it's Supercharged or Turbo charged...Just wondering...is boost pressure managed electronicly now?

I wouldn't think waste gate springs alone, would be sensitive and vari-able enough in todays dog fight.

And do bikes and cars go off the line together at the drag strip, now?

With AMDRA we race against the cages. It is so fun to pull up next to a rear engine dedicated dragster and waste them with a street bike. NHRA kept us separate, bikes vs bikes. The super 16 was dominated by motorcycles in bracket racing, they changed the rules with NHRA for whatever reason. My 14 will still be mild to Scotts standards. The Busa motor is easy to work on, the 14 is a total beeoch.
