This will give you some idea of what to expect if you have not taken the BRC in the past.

Enjoy the Ride!

That was pretty good, Andy.

I am studying for the Ride Coach class coming next week ... I liked that DVD too. I mean, lots of this safety MC stuff comes from over the duck pond. It's nice to see good stuff over here as well and that needs to be spread.

I've seen that before - good clip that demonstrates the way the class is supposed to work very well. Notice that the instructors aren't making a lot of statements, they are asking a lot of questions. "How did that feel?", etc.

My favorite questions are "Who feels like they improved during that last exercise?" (several will raise hands - point at one) "What made it work better?". The hardest part after that is shutting up and letting them teach themselves & each other. It's a good time.

Good video, Andy. It will be a great one to link new riders to who join the forum with questions about where to start. In my opinion, it covered the basic gamut of the BRC in a nutshell very well.

War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other's children.
