They look great.  They sound like they are great.  Being Hondas, you know they're built great.  Without a great rider, they won't win it all.  I wonder if Short can go long on one of these?

I still remember when yellow tanked CZ's were "1 1/2 times better than a Yamaha YZ" (Dirt Bike quote - 1972).

Looking at this new Hondas, I figure they are 1000 times better than what we had back then...

Technology sure is moving exponentially!

"Can Short go long?" I like that, masbuell. I don't know if he can or not, but if he does it won't be because of the new machine. Factory Honda has been running these dampers for a long time. I'm sure the new bike will help, but he needs to find some serious speed to run Stewart's pace. I think he and Millsaps can probably do it, but not necessarily on a weekly basis. The biggest thing Shorty has going for him is consistency - he's been pretty good about that.

I wonder if Stewart will come back as strong as Carmichael did? If so, everyone else seems destined to battle for 2nd place most weekends. What do you think of Langston and Alessi for next year? And of course, can Short go long?
