I have a Ducati 900 Supersport Yellow Year 2000.

By the way It has Been in the Shop for a month beacuse someone backed into it when i was parked downtown.
Broken throttle bar, messed up panels tank and comp mufflers.  All getting replaced
When something like this happens and i get all new parts and paint, is that good for the value of the bike or detrimental??

Hello everybody,
Rumplestilskin here, last ride was in 1982. Just got me a 675 Daytona in graphite. Damn! things have changed! You can go around corners @ 110 without having to wake up with an IV and your old lady crying at the end of the cot.
I do so love this bike! Thank you Triumph, if y'all were American,- youd've touched down, home- runned and holed in one all in the same afternoon.

24 years ago. Man, you better take care out there! Sportbikes have improved tremendously since that time. Braking, power, lean, tires - it's all to the better, a giant step from 1982. I had a GS1000E at that time, today I have a '05 GSX-R1000. The old had 95HP, the new has 180HP (crank), the old weighed over 500lbs, the new 370 plus minus ... Welcome to the world of Crotch Rockets and welcome to the board!

Hi again,

I finaly reached 1000 miles today so I can blip the 975 Daytona to 9000 in short bursts. Only about another 250 miles and I can find out what all the press fuss was about!!

This is my 16th bike and I can honestly say it is 3000% above anything I rode before. I have two buddies who are Buell-heads. I got tired of all their "Buell is the only bike, man" BS, and offered them a test-ride on the 675. Each of them was gone for at least 20 minutes, they both came back glazed, same expletives, same first-sex grin. They are currently planning trade-ins....

For all it's reputation as a sports bike, I find the Daytona very forgiving. (I'm 47 but never grew up) When giving it some stick when coming out of a hard corner, the back tire breaks away, but you just stay with it and slingshot out onto the straightaway. I have never felt so much a part of a bike before.

Anybody in the Austin Texas area who wants to go on a run for BBQ, 200-400 mile day, drop me a line. Sorry, no squid. I wear body armor, I'm not crazy, but the red line in 6th can and will happen, closed-course, trained stunt driver, do not try this at home..bla bla bla.

                                                     Talk to me...    Nick
