The pic at the racetrack shows the bike with the old muffler system, so is that an old pic?

That would be a good assumption! *ducks and runs*

Im sure you are aware, but the pictures and collumn say those are pilot powers on the cbr, but they are pilot race (not an oem tire).

We've been keeping Kenny really busy lately, so forgive his little gaffe. If you take another look at the article you'll see what the Hotbodies kit looks like in action.

Well, technically they are Pilot Powers: Pilot Power Races, to be exact. Sharp eyes, Greg. We've now made changes to the text and captions to clarify things. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!

Ken did the Power Commander 3 solve the CBR's (CBR600RR project bike) OFF/ON throttle lag that, I'm told, is typical of the '05/'06 CBRRR's?
Thanks, Paulcbr

hey, I have an 04 CBR600RR and I am planning on getting the PCIII and the Hotbodies kit and the K&N air filter. I was wondering, if you put your own mapping in the PCIII or did you use one from Dynojet.com. Because I was on their site and I cannot find a map for that set up. Thanks, Brian.

I've been riding and tinkering with my '03 600RR since I got it back in '03. Adding the K&N and Jardine RT-One Race exhaust. Then following that with Hotbodies full race bodywork, PCIII, GPR stabilizer, vortex clip-ons and rear-sets, puig windscreen, and most importantly a Corbin seat. It always seems like my friends are getting different bikes for some reason or another, but none of them seem as comfortable or as happy as I am on my little honda. I'm gonna ride it 'til the wheels fall off.

P.S. Installing the PC will definitely improve the low-mid RPM lag on the earlier 600RR's, just make sure you choose a good map for your setup, don't be afraid to play around with different options.
