We rode to Glenwood Springs for Labor Day from Evanston, WY. That is an awesome town. Even the freeway is more akin to a Disneyland adventure ride than public conveyance.  Definitely going to spend at least a week there next spring

I grew up around there (keep going down the freeway about ... 35-40 miles, you'll pass a no-services exit called Rulison).

Wonderful roads outside of town too. I highly recommend Hwy 133 from Carbondale to Hotchkiss. g.co/maps/2q5hm
