I'm not sure if any of you had seen this yet, but I thought it was rather amazing:
Nora Naraghi has become Iran's first woman motocross champion.
In a country where women are not allowed to obtain a motorcycle endorsement or are restricted by law from access to a main track, 20-year old Nora Naraghi has earned the distinction of being Iran's first woman MX2 Champion.
And she faced stiff competition during the October race, including her own mother, as eight women lined up to compete in the MX2 category created by the Xanyar motorbike club.
Nora's mom, who has been riding for 22 years, was not surprised by her daughter's success, "Of course she is younger and has more potential; she is also more technical than me and that is why she won.”
Here's the story with pictures:
The bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you refuse to turn.
