It seems that it's been a while since a women has chatted on this section. I have been off a while myself but now is time to reclaim our section. The weather is getting better and it is time to ride. I am starting to ride more since my back surgery last June. I haven't been on any major trips yet but I an riding 150 to 300 miles a day on the weekends. Some of the guys on this forum thinks this section is not needed, what is your opinion. Do we let them delete this section or keep it? I vote to keep it. bc1 yeah

Keep.

The biggest benefit I've ever had from a women's motorcycling board had to do with riding to work. Someone posted a story on another board about how the insurance company she worked for asked her not to ride to work. There were a number of reasons, but her gender was at the bottom of it--horrible for her.

A year later, when I was at the end of a successful second round of interviewing for a new job, I asked about motorcycle parking. The place seemed conservative from what I was used to and I wanted them to be okay with my riding.

Keep the board. A lot of educated male motorcyclists can't handle these little realities that still exist for us.

I don't spend much time in here, but I think it's good to have this board.

I have been away due to recovering from back surgery last June and taking care of my Dad who is terminally ill. I am having to share with my sister taking care of him and it has been taking most of my time. Thank all of you for answering this topic. I agree with you jsandford. Thanks again. bc1

I just found this place. I'm a new rider (sorta--5 years on a 50 cc scooter, but new to motorcycles) and I dont want a bunch of boys making fun of me...
