I had a twenty minute argument today with a guy at the gas station who was convinced that I stole my husband's bike and couldn't believe it was mine, then tried to argue with me saying that it was to big and to much bike and I didn't know what I was talking about when I said it was only a 250 LOL he was convinced it was a 750. He then proceeded to tell me that I had no business being on a motorcycle as a woman. My response? Well he obviously didn't know anything about motorcycles or the women who ride them, don't think I've ever seen a man blush that red before. Anyone else have this problem?

Had some moron tell me to "get a real motorcycle," ie Harley, at the gas station once. I pay the idiots no mind. I hope you didn't really waste 20 minutes.

I have to say that the most idiotic comment I've had was from a woman... I was gearing up, next to my motorcycle - the only motorcycle in the parking lot, and I was the only person out there as well. She asked me, "Is that your motorcycle?"

You learn to ignore the stupid comments, or you get no riding time in.

Most comments I get are very supportive and surprised that a 60 y/o would actually ride a bike. Well I certainly ride do and I love every minute of it.
