The 2007 Delirio is the next in line of exotic, hand-made, limited production motorcycles scheduled to hit American shores from Italy's Bimota. Our editor at large, Neale Bayly, samples the Delirios charms in our 2007 DB6 Bimota Delirio - First Ride article.

30K for this Bimota... I wonder how it compares eye candy wise to an MV Agusta. Guess I should make a trip to Proitalia in Glendale to find out. plus they have MVs as demo bikes...

nice write up,

i know it's 'hand-made' so costing 30 large maybe ok for some but the looks and specs don't justify it for me at all...especially with the inter-connecting tube frame exposed like that.  looks like the bike is still under construction.

Love the chassis, Price seems very reasonable for exotic art work, and..... if kept pristine (well I wouldn't ride it), it should increase in resale value like any art investment.

If I were looking for a Sport Bike for power and handling reasons, I can think of several that do the deed and a mishape wouldn't be the end of the world.

Ugly, expensive and poor fueling.

Ugly, expensive and poor fueling.

Meticulous, exclusive, and with character.

As Bayly says in the last paragraph: "On paper it is easy to dismiss the Delirio as an over-priced motorcycle, but after a day in the saddle, and a chance to absorb the bikes intrinsic details, it is a totally different story. Especially when you consider people are shelling out a lot more money for gaudy, hard-to-ride American customs built by companies without a fraction of the history or passion that is Bimota."

Not saying I'd go out and buy one--I'm just not in that tax bracket (but if I was...hmmm....)
