One of our favorite contributors, Neale Bayly, took a ride with a friend down to Miami's South Beach on a pair of American IronHorse choppers. Check it out in his Choppers to South Beach article.

please - lets not get into another session of chopper bashing. nono

i now own  5 motorcycles - yep, that's right - 5. freaked

two matching cbr 929s - one mine, one my sons

yamaha roadliner

ducati paso and yes,

an ironhorse legend.

i LOVE my ironhorse for what it is. it has been reliable, it is powerful, it is way more comfortable than you think, it handles better than you would believe and i just love riding it.

i just got back from bikeoctoberfest in daytona beach ( rode there from virginia - no trailering ). took my roadliner. over 2000 more trouble free miles on the clock.

i am here to tell you from being at bike week that choppers are NOT a fad and you are sadly mistaken if you think they are going away anytime soon. there were HUNDREDS, if not thousands of them there - guy riders, gal riders, all colors, all makes, all shapes and tons of customization.

it's really okay if they are not your cup of tea - but please let's be a little tolerant as motorcyclists. i love each and every one of my bikes for what they are and they each do different things very well.

and that most certainly includes my chopper.yeah

kiss french. ride italian. ducati motorcycles.:p

I know it's a "old" story but I am up early and found the article , a few points well known but rarely discussted or is that disgust".....South Beach is impossible with traffic and possers..... guys with tooo much money, too few pretty women and a need to believe, that if they rent a Farrari/Lambo etc .... " How cool , am I????" Parking a bike was fun once about 10 years ago . I speak numereous lingos from the 71 countries I 've been or workined in so I enjoy the challange of meeting foreign ladies who will ride BUT, SOBE is toast. as for Iron HOSS....the less said the better except that Rossemyer sells it and he will rip his own mom a new one..when it comes to pricing( I was there one day when his top sales woman bragged about a 7,000$ over LIST sale she made on the Iron one...wow)....if you need a chopper ,you need a shrink.Oh, I own a self built real chopper since 1973.

THE SATYR makes the/ and lives by the ....RULES...his own

Satyr, you may indeed speak lingo from 71 countries, but where in the devil did you learn to write?
