I've been riding so many different bikes lately all the cogs and trannys are starting to blend into one.
Hey Lou, I wished I had more time to check out the Washington side. I hear it's spectacular in its own right. I did notice that there are a ton of wineries and vineyards sitting right on the banks on the Washington side. The main thing is You got a good taste of the Gorge. And you know it's there waiting, if you can do it again, and take in things that had to be passed by before.
I was very fotunate to live in Portland (and Vancouver Washington) over a 17 year period, so it was right at my doorstep, and just a few free hours, made a sweet loop on a nice day.
