Not their design but the word on the street is that they're buying a scooter company. Overseas sales capitalizing on the Harley brand name is the goal.

Well, they did it in the seventies when they bought Aermacchi, maybe they will have another go. But I doubt it somehow, it would go down like a lead balloon with the 'faithful'.

They've got one of the older ones, looks like the Topper, on display at the Petersen Museum in L.A. Indian also made a run at scooters back in the day!
