The noted issue GAJ mentioned is the only issue I have noticed. I use Firefox, Google Chrome (My default browser, btw), and Internet Explorer. The message forum appears to work fine on my side of things.

Yeah, that sucks. Wonder why its setup like that. It isn't like that in internet explorer. It really should let you highlight the link atleast and click the URL button to put tags at each end but it doesn't appear to even do that. mad

Upon replying. It won't highlight/add icons/colors like when I am in IE. I use Firefox, Opera and IE and only Firefox behaves this way. Firefox and Opera is SO much faster than IE.

And Yes, they are all the very latest versions.

There are two ways to look at it really. Either Firefox should be more like some of the other internet browsers, or website designers need to understand the growing number of Firefox users and build the website to be compatible with Firefox. Many other php software is compatible with Firefox, dotNetBB is not so much.

Heh, it always boils down to the forums need an upgrade. I'm pretty sure this forum software was made back before firefox exsisted.

This lurker just registered this morning. When the Mods sent my conformation I clicked on their link and all was well but noticed I was on I.E. Not good since my pc is acting up on I.E. Plus I prefer Firefox.

I went to my I.E. options and deleted everything (cache, cookies, passwords, etc). Made sure Firefox was my default and clicked on their link again. It worked. Submitted my name and password and everything has been alright since.

PS: Great site with great info and great people. You should be proud.

Friend of mine went to other ways to receive messages or 'net info & after a while he had to shift back to normal as he was NOT receiving messages from the Gun Section of our Club & being one of the the executive he would also be sent  messages about a secial meeting or warning about the regular meeting & being Assistant President THINGs were not as they needed to be.  Like he could NOT receive a message from me I I shot him a lot of important infor from the Cdn Gun Digest that came in daily to sometimes 3 or 4 reports.

In being off the normal set-up he would then be forced to pay to belong to a special programs that supplied his with some of the best of classical, cross overs, blues, Country & Western to so many forms of Jazz to yes cross overs there as well.  Unfortunately in going back to the normal from AGAIN he would have to pay to obtain the music.  Tap wood I have been receiving it for some four yrs for free.

Remember all the others on the road are crazy & out to kill you.
