Considering a road trip from Iowa to Daytona, FL for bike week this year, Feb. 26 to March 7th 2010.  Any suggestions on where to stay cheap and what its like.  I've been to Sturgis so am familiar with the crowds however, I have heard stories good and bad so I'd love input for anyone who has advise either way.

It's not as close in as Sturgis. Most everything vender wise is on main street, but the bars and seperate activities are spread out around the area.The bike manufacture's are setup at the Daytona speed way on Daytona blvd and just south of there there are a couple of campgrounds that are nreasonable and close to everything.
